Choir Locations  

In 2025, the AMWChoir has over 190 singers in 13 locations all around Australia, including our Online choir.

AMWChoir Online is available to all members who live remotely, are overseas, or are unable to attend an in-person choir rehearsal.

Our current locations for in-person rehearsals are: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, East Sale, Melbourne West, Mornington, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney, Townsville, and Wagga Wagga.

The AMWChoir rehearses on the same days in every location: first, third, and fifth Thursdays of the month. At rehearsals, members develop choral skills and form social connections, all underpinned by the joy of singing together. 

As women and girls connected to the ADF, we are fully aware of the ever-changing nature of our lives; as such, singers are welcome to attend whenever and wherever they can.         

AMWChoirs occasionally perform in the local community to share their love of music and raise awareness of the choir to potential singers.

A Singing Leader and Choir Coordinator are two key ingredients to getting a new choir off the ground. If you can volunteer time to help start a new location choir, the National Committee have resources to help.
